And the director called..

The director of Dany's school actually rang me up yesterday to clarify on my complaint of which I emailed them a couple days ago.
After telling him my concerns and also listening to some unnecessary preaching about how they teach their students origami.. I finally told him, look- bottomline is whatever excuse or reason you have for depriving my son from his trophy like the rest of the children, it is just unacceptable. A kindergarten should at least allow them to experience the prize giving ceremony, perhaps a small token of something, merely because no 1: these are small kids, how do you rationalise with them?
no 2: the feeling of being left out is something even adults have problem dealing with, so how can you expect a kid to cope with it?
no 3: Whatever activities in school, it should promote learning and fun. And when you reprimand, you take away the fun.

How can you isolate a three year old just because he got cold feet from performing?!And to do it twice even after I complained the first time is just proving that the school has no intention to change.

Anyways- I complained months after the incident. I have even taken him out from the school, but I'm glad I sat down and wrote that email. Hopefully I can now shake off those images of Dany folding a piece of paper and put it in front of him because the rest of the children have trophies.
So where should I send him now after this H1N1 epidemic is over?
*Silent prayers for the victims. Hopefully it will soon be over.

My wooden pony..

U know what they say.. parents will buy stuff that they didnt get for their children? I guess it is so true... My cousin used to have it and I would be on it everytime when I came to visit..and only for that reason when I saw it in Malacca I knew I just had to buy it...

My lil thief....

Ady stealing a cupcake and i found him hiding here...

Ady and his milestones

I have been a really really bad mommy for not updating on Adyan. He is such a big boy now! I don't even know where to start..

He started walking at about 8 months

His two front teeth made its appearance at even before that, 5- 6 months old I think

He now almost has a full set of teeth

Weighs about 9kg at one year and 2 months (my lil skinny boy)

Used to eat a lot- his daily comsumes would be spinach blended with porridge

Now pretty much eat what he sees

His vocabulary: mam mam (eat) nak (want) ba ba (when calling someone) and once in a while dad..dy of course 'mummy' will come last after wan and atuk of course...

I weaned him off- well not completely and the sole reason was i had no milk left...but he still wants to latch on which is soooooo PAINFUL... and i would normally do it to shut him up..

so yeah.. my lil skinny boy.. mummy loves u so much...

Mummy's Constant Worries

Mommy:

I guess it's true what Don says. Do not read the newspaper! Everytime, there would be really scary stories of a some tragic accident which as a mom, I find it difficult to erase it off my mind!
I worry every day now. Of the many possible accidents that could happen. Is that normal or I'm paranoid?
God, please spread a safety blanket around my boys cos I can endure all the other obstacles you set upon me, but without my boys, I may just lose it. Amin.
