A journey of Dany and his lil' sidekick brother, Adyan (that's A- D- yen), in the very challenging world, armed with hopes, dreams and faith in God. Throughout the journey, there would be characters whom each plays a vital role in this real life story of a young family in search of happiness.

This is Dany keeping himself busy...
Lepaking with daddy in the room!

Sarawak Laksa no 3. Only 1 star from me.
On our way to the airport- going home :(
Flight at 4pm, we reached the airport at about one something. This was what we did- taking loads of pix!

Mummy's idea of keeping me still while she claimed our luggages

This Kuching trip was really unplanned. At least not in our planned budget this month. But it was a good three days trip.. any longer than that would probably be a different story. My hubby has been travelling and stationed in different places in Sarawak for over a month now and when he was there in Kuching, I thought it was the best time to go and visit him! And off we went on subload, the two of us. Dany spent most of his time sleeping in the aircraft. Which was a good thing, I got to eat! When he’s not he was busy playing pee-a-boo with the pax at the back and occasionally screaming at the passer-bys of our seat. When we reached the airport my darling hubby was already waiting and seeing his face reminded me of how I actually missed him. Dany didn’t even cry when he held him, which means he still remembers his dad!
It was raining most of the time. We were in Crowne Plaza, so most of our time was spent in Parkson. We managed to walk for a bit in the city area, but with the rain and all we only managed to go the nearby malls. The next day, early in the morning before it rained we went to the Cats Museum and Pasar Satok. Right after shopping for ikan Terubuk it started to rain again and we headed back to our hotel. Come to think of it, we spent most of our time in our room and shopping complexes. There were so many other places I want to go in Kuching but we didn’t have much time. And I’m still in pursuit of the best Sarawak Laksa. BTW- I had three Sarawak Laksa. I hadn’t tried one before so I wasn’t convinced of the authenticity. So, we’re probably going there again just before my hubby comes back home for good.

Complete with a miniature fan, Dany is raring to go...
This new bike would be Dany's favourite choice when cruising thru the fast and busy lane!
This cute lil thing is slow to his liking, but for a short distance drive, it sure turns a few heads!
When going to a distant place, the best choice would be this small lil plane.

PIMP MY RIDE!

Apart from crawling and occasionally walking with the help of the walker of course, and the edge of tables and chairs, Dany has a wide selection of rides to choose from.

Things that Dany does in his free time.

Our First Raya!

Raya was a blast! Despite not having anough money towards the end of the month.. but I would think that it was a good first one for Dany! Finding baju melayu for Dany was not a problem AT ALL! He could fit into a one year old size just nice. So he got the two complete set, with sampin (two sampins..mind you!) and the songkok too. We spent Raya in Klang and the second til the fourth in Kg Jenjarom.

Family photo- was a disaster. Mommy just did not know when to quit with the foundation!

Introduction

When we decided to move out from our apartment in S. K aka Seri Kembangan was when I just couldn't bear the thought of climbing up the staircase anymore. Our house was on the top floor of a Five-floor Walk up apartment. So we moved into my mom's place in Klang, planning to find another place closer to my office maybe a month or two after the baby was born. 10 months down the road, I got comfortable.. hehe..and my husband is always required to go outstation and plus.. financial situation not very good so here we are still in Klang. Of course, there's no hassle of looking for a baby sitter and all that stuff, but sometimes it is kinda hard when your parents would interfere and decide on certain things on raising your child. It does get to me sometimes, but they are my parents and they love Dany as much as I do. And bottomline here, we all want the best for him. I guess it's not really a big deal.

Born at 3.7 kg, he has always been quite a big baby. He sure loves to eat. I weaned him off breastfeeding about 5 months after. Quite an easy baby at first until he started to recognise faces. Will drink awful lot when sleeping at night, not so much during the day. Now, crawling at the age of ten month has tendency to pull, touch, throw everything within his reach!

Majlis Bercukur..

Erm.. don't exactly remember when.. but it was held in Kampung, sponsored by Atuk and Nenek. Hehe.. Dany was cool with it. Didn't cry during the entire 'procession'.

Dany First Outing..

Ignoring the disapproval from Mak, we finally brought him out to see the world. The world here, specifically means Sunway Pyramid.. And sometimes you just have to listen to your mother.. Although it was fun, but too much of work and too many people around. A bit to crowded for the baby!

And the journey begins..

Azzee, the lil girl. Was a lil girl before Dany came into the picture. Before Dany, most of her friends think she’s crazy. She would go on crash diets, choosing carefully of what to eat- counting calories.. and looking back, she kinda agrees too that she was a bit too much then. Maybe that’s why when she found out that she was pregnant- she ate with a vengeance.

It was like a Food Fiesta throughout the pregnancy. First few months was of course.. was like warming up to the occasion. The morning sickness during the initial stage was quite bad. She did not put on that much of weight then, only when the nausea disappear the weighing scale got a shock of its life! 20 over kgs- From 43 kg to almost 70 kg. Only when she looked back at the pictures she realised how hideous she looked! The due date was on the 5th of February 2006. She took time out from the office much earlier from that hoping that the date would be close with the allowance of few days earlier or later. Two days after the due date, still nothing. No signs..nothing.

She could still go for a last minute shopping. The doctor told her that she could wait for maximum of ten days after or she could just walk in any day. But of course. Those hours of reading really convinced her that she wants the au naturel way. She decided to wait. Everyone was looking forward to it. The parents, the siblings… first grandson. What do you think?

On the tenth day- she went to Putrajaya Hospital. Why Putrajaya, because they allow the husband to be in the labour room. And also the fact if she went to a private hospital, if caesarean needed to be the price is too much to handle. Anyway, she had been to Putrajaya before and she fell in love instantly. But it was not an easy decision, not after hearing a Putrajaya on National news. Being a typical Virgo, worrying is one of Azzee’s pastime. Especially during the pregnancy- it affected her so much that she would sometimes had weird dreams about her unborn baby.

Ok, back to the tenth day. Walked in to the hospital. It was more like checking in to a hotel. That was on the Valentine’s Day and she thought the doctors would get the baby out the same day.. lil did she know the procedure is to wait until the next morning to start the first induce. At almost six, the pain came- unbearably. Which was after the second time being induced. She was then sent to the labour room. Then the doctor told her that the heartbeat was getting weaker and asking her, a woman, who definitely had low pain endurance to wait or to do caesarean was just stupid. Because the answer would definitely be, ‘I want the caesarean now!’

Her father decided to wait instead. At first he wanted to leave for work but this is the first operation ever in the family so I guess everyone was nervous. Except of course Azzee. She was screaming for anaesthetic the minute she got in the operating theatre. So they waited.

2020 hours. A healthy baby boy was born ..actually was pulled out from his mommy’s big swollen tummy. He was the fairest baby ever. A definite happy moment for everyone.

* That night returning home from the hospital, the father, Lela, Umi, Syairah (the sisters) and Aqilah (cousin) was involved in an accident. Ayah was admitted with minor injuries.

Perhaps we should start from the very beginning..

Once upon a time- there was a lil girl who got tired of her life and thought she needed to settle down. Mostly because of the pressure from the family and perhaps she herself, wanted more in her life. Then, after series of bad relationships, she met a prince charming and fell in love.
10 months after, they got married. It was a beautiful wedding- putting aside the delay, the excess budget, the stress.. everythingelse went well. The first wedding for the family, of course it was hectic. But relatives and friends helped. Unfortunately, it was the same day when the tsunami hit. With what was going on at home, we were not aware of it until the next day.

At first, the newly married couple wanted to have a baby perhaps after a year or two. One day, when the girl was waiting for an interview for a job, she received a call from the family. The father was admitted to the hospital for heart complication. Right after that incident, the couple decided not to wait. And the girl has always wanted to have a baby. More than getting married actually- but please do not tell the husband.
May 2005 marked the month that the baby was conceived. And nine months later.. and that is another chapter.
