Two years now..

Should I be alarmed when he's not producing any sensible sounds? But it is damn funny the things that he says- it'sike a revived language from the unknown.. sometimes with his expression while saying it- it kinda like carry some meaning somehow.. the intonation is fantastic!! But really- not even a syllable of any words... it's all.. betati tabetda bedita betadi beta ti ti.. and he would say it whole heartedly..

Last nite- he came back with Mak Lang from a long day of playing at the Mall- I was watching tv- and I could here him telling everyone that he's home in his own way.. It was a yell of 'daddidada'! Then he came to me- I told him there's a gift from Auntie Zureen (and the whole clan)- he immediately saw the paper bag. Took out the wrapped present- excitedly yet quite careful in tearing up the wrapping paper.. but the look on his face when he saw the Croc sandal- was just priceless!!

He gave the sandal one look- with the expression of ,' this is it?' and threw it away! I didn't know whether to be angry or amused.. obviously now his idea of present would be toys.. and that is A BIG PROBLEM!!!

Anyways- thanks Auntie Zureen, Auntie Nana and Auntie Angah for the present! I want to dedicate a blog to everyone but have yet to take the pictures of the gift so this is just a prelude ok? Thank you Bonda (wanted him to wear them this morning but he was in a terrible mood) and Mummy Alina (I can't even find the clothes now cos we washed it) for the funky clothes, thank you Mak Lang and Uncle Megat for the Monsterous Monster, Thank you Mak Ngah for the horsey horsey and of course Wan for the birthday cake and the KFC!

Mummy? Hmm... I buy you toys every other month ok but don't worry I promise u a monster cake ok?

2 years old and not a single word just yet.. but listen to this.. he can sing.. Ok, not really singing- humming is more like it!!

In this video he's holding a bob the builder wrapping paper (or what's left of it) and now every time he sees the paper he would start humming the tune.. on and on and on and on..

A Mother's Child

A mother's child is every breath that she takes,

walking hand in hand,

they are every step that she makes.

And as their steps will grow to strides,

still a child,

in mother's eyes.

Every ache and pain they shall feel,

mother will share and with love she will kneel.

She will pray to God to take care of her child,

to protect and guide them through every mile.

Her child is the very core of her soul,

from baby in arms to an adult they will grow.

For to a mother, her child will stay,

the precious infant she held that day.

It's Dany's birthday tomorrow and Mommy cannot even afford a cake for you!! :(

Dany has already looking like a big boy now- plus understanding more of the lil things like the function of money and how throwing tantrums can get him a long way!!

He is one bright lil boy (I'm blessed and grateful!!) but very physical. I mean he hits and punches sometimes for no reason... guess got that from Daddy lah.. very mischeavous most of the time- Still not talking- actually he does but using his own vocab which most of the time sounds like Korean..

Still so fixated with trucks and animals..which is so adorable cos he would remember where the trucks are and would get so excited even before we pass by the place....
